Team Lead, Toto Operations

We are looking for a Team Lead for Toto Operations to join our Sportsbook organization in a permanent, full-time role. You will be responsible for leading the daily operations of our horse and dog betting products and ensuring reliable, high-quality customer experiences for all racing fans. This role combines operational excellence, data utilization, and innovation to enhance one of Veikkaus' most traditional yet evolving product areas.

Key responsibilities

• Leading and developing the Toto Operations team, including shift planning, scheduling, and daily coordination.
• Ensuring smooth execution of racing events and operational reliability.
• Overseeing pool management, settlements, targets, broadcasts, contents and process reliability.
• Driving automation and operational improvements.
• Collaborating with partners such as Hippos, international partners and other stakeholders to enhance data quality and efficiency.
• Supporting the continuous development of Veikkaus' racing products and services.

You will thrive in this position if you have

• Experience in pari-mutuel betting, racing operations, or similar time-critical environments.
• Proven leadership and coordination skills.
• Analytical mindset and drive for process development and automation.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for horse racing is a plus.

Success in this role will be measured through high operational reliability and accuracy, clear improvements in efficiency and automation, strong team performance and collaboration, and customer satisfaction with Toto products.
