We're Hiring: Group Financial Controller (SaaS | Sustainability / Environmental Services)

Helsinki, Finland (Remote work possible)

We're looking for an experienced
Group Financial Controller
to join a fast-growing, mission-driven
global SaaS company in the sustainability and environmental impact space
. This is a high-ownership role where you'll lead group-level financial control, reporting, and process excellence while supporting strategic growth initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage
    group financial consolidation and reporting
  • Ensure compliance with
    IFRS
    and relevant financial regulations
  • Own
    budgeting and forecasting
    processes across the group
  • Drive
    process improvements & finance automation
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a
    high-performing finance team
  • Partner with business units to support
    strategic initiatives
  • Support
    M&A, funding rounds, and investor reporting
    as needed

Must-Have Experience

  • 3+ years
    in group financial control
  • IFRS expertise
    (1+ year)
  • Leadership / team management
    (2+ years)
  • Accounting/Finance qualification (e.g.,
    CPA, ACCA, MSc
    or equivalent)

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in the
    SaaS sector
  • Familiarity with
    NetSuite and/or PowerBI
  • Interest or exposure to
    sustainability / environmental services
  • Experience with
    M&A or fundraising

  • Strong communicator who can influence across teams
