Qué estamos buscando:

En Cobre buscamos un Engineering Support Specialist, un perfil con fuerte capacidad técnica, criterio de ingeniería y mentalidad DevOps, que combine diagnóstico profundo de sistemas, automatización e inteligencia artificial aplicada.

Este rol será clave para potenciar las capacidades del equipo BES(Business Engineering Support), actuando como enlace técnico entre las áreas de soporte, desarrollo e infraestructura.

La persona ideal domina el análisis de logs complejos, entiende el flujo del código y puede identificar rápidamente cuellos de botella o errores sistémicos. Además, será capaz de desarrollar herramientas internas, scripts o integraciones que mejoren la eficiencia y el monitoreo proactivo de la operación.

Qué estarás haciendo:

  • Analizar y diagnosticar incidentes críticos con base en logs, trazas de código y comportamiento de APIs, identificando la causa raíz y mitigaciones técnicas.
  • Colaborar con equipos de desarrollo para revisar, reproducir y validar fixes o releases en entornos controlados.
  • Implementar automatizaciones y scripts (Python, Bash, etc.) que reduzcan la intervención manual en la gestión de incidentes.
  • Diseñar y optimizar pipelines de monitoreo y alertamiento, integrando herramientas como Datadog, Grafana, New Relic o Prometheus.
  • Aplicar herramientas de IA (ChatGPT, Copilot, Ansible AI, etc.) para acelerar diagnósticos, documentación y resolución técnica.
  • Contribuir con mejoras en la observabilidad de los sistemas: métricas, dashboards y alertas inteligentes.
  • Generar documentación técnica avanzada y entrenar al equipo BES base en buenas prácticas de DevOps y debugging.
  • Participar en postmortems técnicos, aportando análisis de causa raíz y acciones preventivas.

Qué necesitas:

  • Experiencia sólida (mínimo 5 años) en soporte técnico avanzado o en equipos de desarrollo, SRE o roles de DevOps.

  • Conocimientos técnicos en:

    • Diagnóstico de código y APIs REST (lectura e interpretación de errores, validación con herramientas tipo Postman, cURL).

    • Infraestructura y DevOps: CI/CD, contenedores (Docker), logs distribuidos, monitoreo.

    • SQL y análisis de bases de datos (Snowflake, PostgreSQL o equivalentes).

    • Observabilidad: Datadog, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, Prometheus.

    • Automatización: scripting en Python o Bash.

    • IA aplicada: uso de modelos generativos para análisis de logs, creación de scripts y documentación técnica.

  • Mentalidad analítica, pensamiento sistémico y autonomía técnica.

  • Habilidades de comunicación para traducir hallazgos técnicos a conclusiones ejecutivas.

  • (Deseable) Experiencia en fintechs o plataformas de pagos de alta disponibilidad.
