Your new role

As our new Senior Electrical Engineer, you will work to create Data Center solutions for our clients. You will be part of our Nordics group for Data Center Facilities in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway. You will work as part of passionate teams filled with talents from all over the world, your core colleagues are in locations across all four Nordic countries, but you'll also become part of our Global Data Center Spearhead and will benefit from +150 Data Center specialists in the U.K., U.S.A., India, Germany and Asia as your new colleagues.

We have a flexible and hybrid working model where we work from within Ramboll's offices, from home and online. We travel as needed but also respect family and other personal responsibilities to support a strong work-life balance for everyone.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Liaison with clients to identify business goals and optimize technical requirements.
  • Communicate with third parties to frame constraints and solution spaces.
  • Develop electrical concepts and design solutions for data centers.
  • Lead and oversee electrical design teams across the Nordics to ensure implementation.
  • Participate in the continued development of our business in the Nordics in general and in respect to electrical.

  • Experience with leading electrical design teams and collaborating in multidisciplinary teams where the best overall solution for the client may not be the optimal electrical design.
  • Proven experience with designing or constructing data center facilities.
  • Experience working as a consulting electrical engineer.
  • A thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.
  • Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex technical concepts to our clients and project team partners in plain language, verbally and in writing.
