We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Category Manager to join our Sourcing and Procurement team. This role is critical in managing and developing a designated category of products and components, ensuring alignment with our overall Sourcing & Procurement Strategy and Policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement category strategies based on the company's overall sourcing strategy and policy guidelines.
  • Ensure effective management of category-related suppliers, maintaining strong relationships to secure material availability and performance.
  • Lead commercial contracting and negotiations with suppliers, securing favorable terms and ensuring cost efficiency.
  • Oversee category cost management, monitor supplier performance, and manage associated risks to ensure seamless operations.
  • Drive and achieve targets set by company management, contributing to the overall success of the Sourcing & Procurement team.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in strategic sourcing or category management, with proven experience in global supplier collaboration and negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and successfully implement category strategies.
  • Strong knowledge in Supply Chain, Business, Total Cost, Negotiation, Finance, and Legal (Contracting).
  • Ability to think strategically and manage internal and external pressures effectively.
  • High-level analytical skills with the capability to drive business decisions.
  • Strong business acumen with a proactive approach to driving change.
  • Excellent people skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong business relationships.
  • Technical understanding and experience in an industrial supply chain environment.
