Job Overview:

The Junior IT Asset Management Specialist will be responsible for the daily management of IT assets, including hardware support, inventory control, and recycling and disposal processes.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication skills to work collaboratively across teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hardware Support
    • Provide technical support for hardware-related issues and ensure timely delivery of hardware to employees.
    • Maintain accurate records of support requests and escalations.
  • Inventory Control
    • Monitor and maintain the IT asset inventory, ensuring records are up to date and accurate.
    • Conduct regular audits of hardware inventory to prevent discrepancies and track usage.
    • Assist with stocking, organizing, and labeling IT assets to streamline inventory management.
  • Recycling and Disposal Efforts
    • Manage the recycling and disposal of decommissioned IT assets in alignment with organizational policies and sustainability goals.
    • Coordinate with vendors or recycling partners for secure and compliant disposal.
    • Track and report on recycling efforts and asset disposal processes to support environmental compliance.
  • Hardware Deployment and Replacement
    • Support the setup, configuration, and deployment of IT hardware for employees.
    • Ensure seamless onboarding and offboarding by preparing and recovering IT assets.
    • Coordinate hardware replacement schedules to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
