We are looking for an experienced Remote Payroll Expert to join our team in Finland. As a key member of our payroll team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth management of payroll processes for all employees across Finland.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full payroll cycle, ensuring timely and accurate processing while adhering to Finland labor laws and tax regulations.
  • Administer end-to-end payroll processing for employees in Finland, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Finland legislation.
  • Calculate, process, and verify wages, bonuses, overtime, vacation pay, sick leave, and other compensation elements.
  • Ensure the correct application of tax codes, deductions, and statutory contributions, including pension, social security, and unemployment insurance.
  • Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports, including but not limited to tax returns, pension contributions, and annual summaries.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration within Finland, including comprehensive knowledge of Finland tax and labor laws.
  • Strong understanding of Finland payroll systems, software, and tools (experience with Visma, Tripletex, or similar systems preferred).
  • Fluency in Finnish (both written and spoken); proficiency in English is a plus.
