Golf GameBook, a leading mobile application developer, is dedicated to revolutionizing the golfing experience through its cutting-edge platform. With a thriving community of over 1.5 million registered users and more than 50 million rounds of golf recorded to date, Golf GameBook is at the forefront of social scoring apps for golf.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing & Communications Manager to join our team at Golf GameBook. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing external and internal communications, ensuring our messaging is engaging, consistent, and aligned with our brand identity. Your work will help us connect with golfers worldwide, making the game more enjoyable on and off the course.

Main responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing communications across various channels, including email campaigns, push notifications, press releases, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms.

  • Optimize communication strategies to enhance engagement and conversion rates.

  • Plan and create compelling content for marketing newsletters, press releases, and social media platforms.

  • Support our communication efforts as we expand into new markets.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging aligns with our brand, products, and marketing goals.

  • Work closely with creative teams and develop simple visuals for marketing communications independently.

  • Broaden our global reach by leveraging additional language capabilities (e.g., Swedish, Norwegian, French, German, etc.).

  • Stay updated on industry trends, marketing best practices, and emerging platforms.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications, marketing, or a relevant field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, content creation, or a similar role.

  • Native (or near-native) proficiency in English, with the ability to create high-quality, fluent, and engaging content in both languages. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.

  • Experience managing email marketing campaigns and other communications.

  • Experience using email marketing platforms (such as Mailchimp, Braze, OneSignal, HubSpot, or similar).

  • Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.

  • Excellent project management skills - ability to multitask and oversee multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while working independently and meeting clear deadlines.

  • A proactive mindset with a creative and strategic approach to communications.

Preferred skills:

  • Experience in app marketing, SEO, or branding.

  • Knowledge of CRM and customer journey automation.

  • Experience managing LinkedIn and other social media for brand promotion.

  • Previous experience with image editing tools such as Photoshop, Figma, or similar.

  • We value candidates who have a passion for sports or already enjoy playing golf.
