About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Graphics Software Engineer to join our team at Codento. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining an elegant and modern architecture for 2D and/or 3D graphics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Defining and developing Qt's cross-platform graphics API abstractions
  • Contributing to Qt's 2D and 3D graphics engines
  • Tweaking rendering performance on a variety of platforms and devices

About You

  • Curious and creative individual with a passion for writing robust C, C++, and shader (GLSL, HLSL) code
  • Familiarity with the modern 3D graphics pipeline and cross-platform graphics development experience
  • Knowledge of more than one graphics API (OpenGL, Vulkan, Direct3D, Metal)
  • Interest in software design and architecture, with the ability to work independently and manage tasks and projects
  • Excellent communication skills, both online and face-to-face
  • Comfortable working with publicly available code and material
  • A solid knowledge of modern C++ and familiarity with modern software architectures and design

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Qt and QML
  • Proficiency in writing shader code
  • Knowledge of modern game engines, such as Unreal, Unity, or Godot
  • Experience with open source communities and development
  • Knowledge of graphics debugging and profiling tools, such as RenderDoc
  • Experience with embedded development
