We are seeking a skilled Regulatory Affairs Specialist to join our team at Robson Bale. In this role, you will ensure our company remains compliant with global trade regulations and support the development of policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of global trade regulations, including import/export laws, and will be able to manage compliance reporting, conduct training, and promote awareness of trade compliance within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure organisational compliance with global trade regulations.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to align with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage compliance reporting, conduct training, and promote awareness of trade compliance within the organisation.
  • Conduct and monitor investigations and compliance audits, ensuring thorough documentation and tracking.
  • Facilitate adherence to trade laws and regulations, including export licensing, trade sanctions, and embargoes.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure the integration of compliance measures in processes and operations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, International Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in import/export operations or global trade compliance roles.
  • Proficient in analysing and interpreting global trade regulations, including EU customs and export control laws.
  • Expertise in Dual Use regulations (e.g., 428/2009), Export Control Classification Numbers (ECCN), and the Harmonised Tariff Schedule (HTS).
  • Hands-on experience with global trade management software platforms (ERP, Global Trade Management, Business Intelligence).
  • Fluency in Finnish and English is required; additional languages are a plus.
