We're seeking a talented Electronic Parts Procurement Expert to join our team at Wärtsilä. In this role, you'll drive the procurement of electronic parts/products and ensure the high quality of our supply chain.
As an Electronic Parts Procurement Expert, you'll develop and execute supplier development action plans to improve supplier performance. You'll also analyse supplier performance, identify development opportunities and drive the development actions.
This position is part of Supply Management in Wärtsilä Marine Power, Power Supply, focusing on the Automation category with engine-related electronic parts.
Others- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good teamwork, coordination and communication skills.
- Capability to apply lean principles and statistical process control in daily work for driving improvement.
- Experience of Production Part Approval Process / Experience in quality management for example in manufacturing processes.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration, or qualified equivalent.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience in SAP is seen as a benefit.
- Willingness to travel.
