We're looking for a talented Electronic Component Procurement Manager to join our team at Wärtsilä.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the development of electronic components, working closely with suppliers to ensure high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about procurement and supplier management.
Key Responsibilities- Actively support new product introduction and lead systematic quality assurance activities for electronic parts/products.
- Analyse supplier performance, identify development opportunities and drive the development actions.
- Develop and execute supplier development action plans to improve supplier performance.
Requirements
- Previous experience of electronic components (i.e. manufacturing).
- Strong personal drive for identifying potential for development and taking action on initiatives.
- Performance-focused mindset.
- A systematic way of working and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good teamwork, coordination and communication skills.
- Capability to apply lean principles and statistical process control in daily work for driving improvement.
- Experience of Production Part Approval Process / Experience in quality management for example in manufacturing processes.
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering or Economics and Business Administration, or qualified equivalent.
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
