About the Role

Codento is seeking an experienced Operational Excellence Manager to lead our Continuous Improvement initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving process optimization, implementing Lean Six Sigma methodologies, and fostering a culture of operational excellence across our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Process Optimization: Analyze and improve manufacturing, functional, and business processes using Lean and Six Sigma methods and tools, real-time problem-solving techniques, and other statistical and quality improvement tools.
  2. Strategic Project Leadership: Lead strategic operational projects across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving measurable results.
  3. Lean Six Sigma Deployment: Lead and/or facilitate Eaton Lean Six Sigma (ELSS) projects, Eaton Business System (EBS) strategy deployment, Operations Assessment (OpA), and deploy ELSS through tactical activities and facilitation of kaizen events at identified sites.
  4. Capability Development: Develop ELSS/CIF deployment procedures, policies, and own sharing of best practices across the organization, supporting the development of site/business ELSS knowledge and coaching regional talent on Continuous Improvement (CI) competencies.
  5. Business Partnership: Support key business segment's cost-effectiveness projects and actions, product cost reduction initiatives, and ensure achievement of business benefits determined in each project.
  6. Operational Excellence: Lead, facilitate, coach, support Needle Mover projects, Rapid Improvement Events (RIE), Business Process Improvement (BPI) projects, including non-Cost-out CI projects and special or turn-around CI projects.
  7. Operational Standards: Initiate operating principles that focus on process standardization, visual factory, Daily Accountability, and Tier meetings.
  8. Talent Development: Mentor and support candidates of Lean/Six Sigma Certification programs throughout the certification process.
  9. Training and Development: Prepare and conduct ELSS-related training for sites/functions and develop on-site ELSS knowledge.
  10. Assessment and Calibration: Support the site ELSS/CIF assessment and calibration for Opportunities for Advancement (OFA).
Requirements
  1. 10 years of experience leading manufacturing operations and/or continuous improvement.
  2. Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience of Business Process Improvement in facilitating projects for IT, HR, Finance, SCM, Sales & Marketing, and other non-manufacturing functions.
  2. Subject matter expert in specified manufacturing processes such as Metal Stamping, Plastics injection, system assembly, and electronics/electrical manufacturing process.
  3. Previous experience in SCM and/or QA.
  4. Flexibility to travel at least 40% to our various manufacturing locations.
  5. Ability to demonstrate understanding of resource, capacity planning, and MRP systems.
  6. Demonstrated ability to use Lean and Six Sigma tools and deliver projects in an operational environment.
  7. Strong communication and influencing skills enabling visible and collaborative leadership.
  8. Ability to lead effectively and drive alignment across a complex global matrixed environment.
  9. Flexibility and resilience, adapting plans to changing circumstances while maintaining strength and resolve.
  10. Demonstrated experience in building organizational capabilities through talent acquisition, training, and development, and a motivational leadership style that delivers increasing levels of performance.
  11. Experience in driving enterprise-wide scale change effort.
