We are looking for an experienced Category Specialist to join our VR Group team. As a key member of our Indirect Procurement Team, you will be responsible for managing categories, creating cost savings strategies, and implementing them.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category management, including cost savings strategy creation and implementation.
  • Sourcing, selecting, and approving new suppliers in collaboration with internal customers and stakeholders.
  • Supplier relationship management, contract lifecycle management, and risk management.
  • Planning and executing global sourcing activities, negotiations, and contracting.

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are necessary for this role.
  • You should have the ability to analyze and evaluate large datasets.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills are also required.
