Nord Pool Services provides expert advice on wholesale electricity markets and project management services. Our team consists of experienced professionals who work closely together to deliver projects and develop the team's expertise. We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our team and contribute to our success.

Main Responsibilities

  • Act as an expert advisor on wholesale electricity markets
  • Manage projects from preparation to execution stages
  • Present electricity market topics to various audiences in conferences, trainings, and projects
  • Cooperate with other departments and external partners during project preparation and execution stages
  • Prepare project deliverables, including reports, presentations, market rules, and training material
  • Develop relations with sponsors, partners, and clients
  • Attend international conferences to acquire new projects, maintain stakeholder relations, and build new relationships
  • Prepare technical and financial proposals for existing customers or new tenders, negotiate commercial terms

Key Requirements

  • Senior expert mindset, maturity to see the big-picture, think outside the box, and provide advice based on experience
  • Excellent communication and leadership/project management skills
  • Decision making and presentation skills
  • Fluent English, both written and oral; proficiency in other languages is beneficial
  • At least 7 years' experience from power markets, including operational experience, market design, market rules, regulatory issues, and management experience
  • Thorough knowledge of the European Target Model design and good knowledge of power markets outside of power exchanges domain
