Data Center M&E Design Expert

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing high-quality M&E systems for our data centers. With a strong focus on collaboration and technical expertise, this role requires a highly skilled professional who can ensure seamless integration of M&E designs into overall project plans.

Responsibilities

  • Lead M&E Design Process: Oversee the design and implementation of M&E systems for data center projects, covering power distribution, backup power systems, HVAC, cooling systems, fire protection, and other mechanical and electrical components.
  • Collaborate with Project Team: Work closely with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure smooth integration of M&E designs into overall project plans.
  • Provide Technical Expertise: Offer technical guidance on M&E systems, ensuring designs meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and client needs.
  • Conduct Design Reviews: Lead and participate in design reviews to ensure M&E designs are accurate, feasible, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Verify that all M&E designs comply with relevant codes and standards, and implement quality control processes to ensure accuracy and reliability of M&E designs and systems.
  • Solve Technical Challenges: Identify and resolve technical issues in M&E design and implementation, minimizing project risks.
  • Coordinate with Vendors: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to specify and select M&E equipment, ensuring compatibility with design requirements.
  • Prepare Design Documentation: Develop and review design documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and reports, ensuring thorough and accurate records.
