As a Marketing & Events Project Manager at Frends, you will play a key role in orchestrating high-impact events and driving marketing operations to support pipeline growth. You'll be responsible for the end-to-end planning and execution of events, both digital and in-person, while also managing internal marketing projects, vendor relationships, and cross-functional coordination.

You'll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and external partners to ensure our events, campaigns, and marketing initiatives run smoothly, on time, and within budget. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, execution, and delivering world-class experiences.

What You'll Own & Deliver
  • Event Management: Plan and execute customer, partner, and industry events (webinars, conferences, roundtables, and trade shows). Manage logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and post-event reporting.
  • Marketing Project Management: Work alongside the CMO to execute strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration between internal teams and external partners.
  • Vendor & Partner Coordination: Source, manage, and maintain relationships with event vendors, agencies, and third-party partners to ensure quality execution.
  • Timeline & Budget Oversight: Create and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently.
  • Internal Coordination & Reporting: Ensure cross-functional alignment across marketing, sales, and customer success to keep teams informed and marketing projects moving forward.
  • Process Optimization: Implement best practices and workflows to improve efficiency in event planning, campaign execution, and marketing operations.
Who You Are
  • 4+ years of experience in marketing project management, event planning, or B2B marketing operations.
  • Proven track record of executing and managing large-scale events and marketing initiatives.
  • Strong ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage budgets, and deliver projects on time.
  • Experience working with external vendors, agencies, and event platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail—able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing operationally—you love planning but also getting things done.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, technology, or integration platforms (iPaaS, API management, automation, etc.).
  • Familiarity with HubSpot, event platforms, and marketing automation tools.
  • Experience managing co-marketing events with partners.

Additional Information
  • The start is flexible according to your situation.
  • While we're open for remote candidates located in Europe, we do set a higher preference for candidates from our Swedish or Finnish HQ offices. If you're an applicant from outside these areas, you're expected to visit either at least once a quarter in-person.
  • You will be reporting to the CMO, keeping a close collaboration with the rest of the marketing and sales teams.
  • Our recruitment process includes three to four discussions. To ensure a smooth and informative process, you will meet at least our People Integrator, a Marketing Team Member, and CMO. Case study and reference checks are also included.
