We're now looking for a QA Engineer to support our growth and join our Engineering TeamteamThe QA Engineer contributes to the quality assurance of Provet Cloud, a cloud-based veterinary practice management software. This role involves a balance between manual and automated testing, requiring strong experience in Python, Playwright, and API testing.
The QA Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and executing manual and automated test scenarios, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for customers. This role involves close collaboration with product, design, development, and support teams to uphold high-quality standards.
To the extent that the need arises, and time allows, the employee will participate in the execution of the company's other tasks within relevant functions.
Your key responsibilities include:1. Manual and Automated Testing
- Works as part of the QA team, designing, implementing, and executing manual and automated test scenarios for Provet Cloud.
- Performs functional, regression, system, acceptance, and performance testing to ensure product reliability.
- Develops and maintains automated test scripts using Python and Playwright to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Conducts API testing to validate system integrations and functionality.
- Identifies, reports, and tracks defects, collaborating with development teams for resolution.
2. Process Improvement & Ownership
- Takes strong initiative in creating, improving, and optimizing test-related processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensures that test automation is scalable, maintainable, and well-documented to support long-term quality assurance efforts.
- Actively contributes to refining QA methodologies, best practices, and workflows within the team.
- Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work
- Works cross-functionally with implementation, support, and design teams, as well as collaborating with other functions across the organization.
- Ensures effective communication between QA and development teams to align testing efforts with product goals.
- Participates in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to support continuous improvement.
3. Performance & Goal Setting
- Annual OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) are set at the individual level to contribute to the OKRs of the Business Unit, Team, and Company.
- Maintains focus on achieving quality benchmarks, test coverage goals, and automation efficiency.

Solid professional experience in software quality assurance and testing.
Strong test automation experience
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to design test scenarios and manage the whole testing process to ensure that product quality is delivered.
Test documentation and reporting skills.
Understanding of various test processes and methods.
Strong background in functional, non-functional, system, regression, acceptance, validation, load, and performance testing.
Capability to work under pressure with tight time schedules.
Enjoying collaboration with product, design, and other engineers to ensure high-quality implementation.
Ability to prioritize work tasks and time management both independently and in collaboration with the team.
Required
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in QA, with strong manual testing expertise.
- Proficiency in Python and test automation tools, particularly Playwright.
- Strong experience in API testing.
- Understanding of software development processes, test methodologies, and Agile workflows.
- Basic experience with Docker and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Ability to prioritize work tasks and manage time effectively, both independently and collaboratively.
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred
- Experience in testing SaaS products.
- Exposure to performance and load testing.
