We are currently constructing multiple turnkey data centre projects in 7 different European countries, equating to over 430 MW of IT load in flight.

We are pleased to announce that we are currently seeking a CSA Engineer to join our team. This position will be site-based in Helsinki, Finland.

Responsibilities

  1. Check works carried out and ensure quality control is maintained throughout.
  2. Work as part of the Quality team to ensure finished works meet standards required, managing quality of the works set against approved benchmarks, actively coordinate with the QA managers to ensure the correct documentation is submitted in a timely manner by the contractors.
  3. Liaise with sub-contractors on tracking progress against schedule and carry out sub-contractor meetings.
  4. Manage site documentation; RFI's, Tech subs, trackers, weekly and monthly reports, vendor meetings, and all documentation associated with the scope you are managing.
  5. Attend and actively participate in Site Meetings, Internal Project Reviews, Engineering Reviews, Planning, Coordination, and lookahead meetings, as well as Handover Meetings.
  6. Review drawings with the design team and effectively solve any issues.
  7. Actively monitor and snag contractor works ensuring installation is per the approved drawings and specifications, achieving the highest quality to ensure zero defects; snag list to be raised on the approved platform and issued to the contractors with follow-up walks and close-out reports issued timely as per the approved QMS.
  8. Manage sub-contractor activities including tracking progress against schedule and manpower levels, ensuring contractors protect finished works and prevent damage at all times, raising observations as required.
  9. Coordinate works ensuring all trades have adequate time, material, and resources to complete their works on program.
  10. Manage health and safety, housekeeping material storage, actively participate in issuing daily SPA's and permits, ensure works are carried out in accordance with the approved MSRA/RAMS, and participate in daily DAB's and Whiteboard meetings ensuring contractors are aware of ongoing and upcoming works.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similar is essential.
  2. Ability to work on own initiative.
  3. 3+ years' experience working on large scale projects.
  4. Experience in facades and fit-out projects.
  5. Previous data centre experience is advantageous.
