  5. Designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining compute-intensive software (primarily in C++).
  6. Participating in architectural, design, and requirements engineering discussions.
  7. Managing risk analysis, producing documentation aligned with QA standards, and contributing to user documentation and training.
  8. Keeping progress, status, and risks transparent to project teams and stakeholders.
  9. Staying up to date on engineering best practices, tools, and methodologies, as well as radiotherapy industry developments.
  10. Providing expert product support to the service department, and giving input on IT hardware and development tools.

  1. A proactive mindset with excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  2. Excellent algorithm development skills.
  3. Strong leadership qualities to coordinate cross-functional efforts effectively.
  4. A continuous improvement approach to both technical processes and personal development.
  5. Ability to build relationships, foster trust, and inspire others within a global, multi-cultural environment.
  6. Adaptability, flexibility, and an eagerness to share knowledge.
  7. Clinical experience or medical device experience is considered a plus.
What you bring
  1. Hands-on experience with compute-intensive software development in C++ (and Python or similar), including unit and integration testing.
  2. Background in algorithm design, prototyping, and performance optimization.
  3. Familiarity with architectural and detailed design principles within a regulated environment.
  4. Understanding of medical device requirements (or willingness to learn) and relevant QA standards.
  5. Experience in requirements engineering, product risk analysis, and documentation best practices.
  6. Proven ability to manage scope, effort estimates, and scheduling.
  7. Solid grasp of software engineering fundamentals (mathematics, physics, or computer science background advantageous).
What you'll get

In this role, you will work for a higher purpose: hope for everyone dealing with cancer and for everyone, regardless of where in the world they are, to have access to the best cancer care. Additionally, our benefit package includes:
