Manager, Sustainability

to join our Sustainable Growth team in Espoo.

Neste's Marketing & Services business unit is responsible for transforming innovations into customer value in Finland and the Baltics. We are changing from product orientated business into a preferred partner for sustainable solutions helping companies achieve carbon neutrality.

As a Manager, Sustainability, you will work closely with the Marketing & Services teams, corporate sustainability and public affair teams to support the development of our carbon neutrality offering. Our work combines accountability, cooperation, and the desire to develop and renew.

Your role in our team

  • Work as a leading expert on Sustainability topics for Marketing & Services
  • Follow relevant EU and country legislation, translate legal requirements to needed actions and business opportunities or challenges
  • Propose sustainability targets, progress follow up
  • Work closely with other teams within Marketing & Services to support them in creating value added solutions and services
  • Support sales to deepen customer relations and support customers to understand sustainability requirements and implications to their businesses



The best combination to success in this role

  • Deep understanding of sustainability and the commercial value it can offer to us and our customers
  • Thorough understanding of customers' Net Zero goals and how to best support them with both existing and new solutions.
  • Ability to develop and commercialise new business opportunities
  • Strong influencing and communication skills in English (among other things, excellent presentation skills and ability to prepare quality presentation materials, represent M&S externally with stakeholders), Finnish is an advantage
  • Strategic orientation and visionary thinking - ability to anticipate and plan for longer-term macro trends and turn them into concrete business opportunities
  • Ability to create links within M&S and with other BUs and manage several external partnerships
  • Min Bachelor degree in a relevant field
