Main Responsibilities

  • Environmental Compliance
    • Review and execute compliance requirements related to solutions, operations, and customer projects.
  • Customer Requirements
    • Deliver on-time customer requirement data collection for green building projects in tendering and delivery.
  • Business Development
    • Follow up business requirements continuously, especially green building market trends and related local certification schemes, and develop unit business operations accordingly.
  • Low-Carbon Operations
    • Develop unit low-carbon operations in line with business needs.
  • Environmental Performance
    • Gather data to analyze trends and for quarterly environmental reporting.
  • Audits and Compliance
    • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Prioritize environmental performance improvement based on data analysis.
  • Training and Development
    • Use continuous improvement methodologies to investigate non-conformances and determine root cause, identify corrective actions, and drive actions to closure.
  • Environmental Awareness
    • Participate in creating environmental training for unit employees.

Requirements

  • You have a suitable university degree in environmental science or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience within environmental development and management.
  • You are familiar with environmental legislation and the ISO 14001 standard.
  • Background in change management and a proven track of change management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a high sense of responsibility, accountability, and a hands-on approach to tasks.
  • You are passionate about environment-related issues.
  • You work proactively to understand and improve the current practices in KONE's Environmental management.
  • Excellent communication, training, and organizational skills.
  • You cultivate an understanding and actively caring culture for environmental questions. Act as a role model.
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix organization and build strong networks.
  • You have good command of English language written and spoken and one other Nordic language.
  • Solid IT skills, preferably experience of Qlik, Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.
  • Full professional proficiency in English and one other Nordic language.
