The role involves various tasks related to operative purchasing, such as ensuring that the right amount of required material is available just in time when needed, forecasting, requirement and delivery planning, ordering and order supervision for assigned component portfolio, operational management of the supply chain for assigned suppliers, managing and measuring supplier quality level, managing document revision to supplier, maintaining and developing material master data, and optimizing the inventory turnover.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a MSc in Engineering, Economics or similar, experience in purchasing or logistics in the manufacturing industry, good communication, teamwork and social skills, a systematic and proactive approach to working, strong problem-solving skills, strong PC skills (e.g. SAP, PowerBI knowledge, advanced Excel skills), fluent in spoken and written English and Finnish, Swedish skills are seen as an advantage, knowledge of demand-driven material requirements planning, knowledge of LEAN principles is seen as an advantage (e.g. value stream mapping, kaizen, root cause analysis), and experience in process development is seen as an advantage.
