Our team is committed to delivering exceptional results, and we're seeking a Senior Director to lead our Hardware Engineering team in Oulu, Finland. This critical role will drive the development of our HW product roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful delivery of complex consumer hardware products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute the HW product roadmap aligned with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Cultivate and lead a high-performing HW engineering team that embodies operational excellence, ownership, and innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • Create an environment that encourages experimentation and the exploration of new technologies to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Ensure compliance with best practices, development standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership to tackle complex hardware engineering challenges and drive innovation.
  • Oversee the performance of the engineering teams, fostering continuous improvement and professional growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align engineering activities with business objectives.
We're Looking for Someone with:
  • Extensive experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering complex consumer hardware products from concept to production.
  • A proven ability to drive technical innovation and adapt to emerging technologies.
  • A strong understanding of hardware development processes, methodologies, tools, manufacturing processes, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing large hardware engineering teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
