We are looking for a skilled Service Tendering Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with the sales team to define and compile tenders for both existing and new service offerings. You will be responsible for formulating competitive service bids, estimates, and quotations, ensuring they align with customer needs, technical requirements, and commercial considerations.

A key part of your work will be preparing well-documented, accurate tenders with complete cost breakdowns while managing all technical, financial, commercial, and contractual aspects. You will also coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support bid preparation, including translations, governmental approvals, and input from other teams.

Risk assessment is essential in this role, as you will identify potential risks in bids and contracts and contribute to risk review assessments. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Supply Chain and Engineering Teams to identify potential vendors, evaluating supplier offers from both technical and commercial perspectives.

Strong customer relationships are vital to understanding client needs and ensuring a smooth sales process with necessary technical support. Throughout your work, you will uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, fostering a responsible and ethical work environment.

We are looking for a candidate with a university degree in a relevant field, such as electrical, mechanical, or automation engineering, combined with at least three years of experience in automation systems. Your previous experience could be in engineering, tendering, or sales, and a strong technical background, preferably within power system automation, is highly valued.

You should be self-motivated, reliable, and a team player with a service-oriented mindset. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential for this role. You should be structured, persistent, and well-organized in your work, with the ability to thrive in an international and multicultural environment.

Fluency in both Finnish and English, both spoken and written, is required. Experience in power system engineering and familiarity with domain technologies such as substation automation and protection systems, SCADA, RTUs, IEDs, and mission-critical communication are advantageous.
