About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Transformation Specialist to join our team in Tokyo. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Japanese market.

Your primary focus will be on building relationships with potential clients, understanding their needs, and showcasing Reaktor's capabilities and expertise in digital transformation. You will work closely with our experienced sales colleagues to develop and execute sales strategies, and collaborate with our marketing team to plan and execute local events and campaigns.

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of the Japanese IT industry, current market trends, and client needs. You will also need to be able to refine and adapt communication strategies to resonate with different audiences, and have a strong interest in and understanding of people to build and maintain relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Japanese market
  • Build relationships with potential clients and understand their needs
  • Collaborate with experienced sales colleagues to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Represent Reaktor at industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with qualified leads
  • Develop and manage strategic partnerships with companies that have complimentary services to our own
Requirements
  • Native-level Japanese required and business-level English preferred
  • Previous experience working in the consulting services industry
  • Proven track record of success in identifying qualified leads
  • Familiarity with the Japanese IT industry, current market trends, and client needs is desirable
  • Possess a strong understanding of lead nurturing strategies and the ability to implement effective lead conversion tactics
  • Ability to refine and adapt communication strategies to resonate with different audiences
  • Good presentation and public speaking skills
  • A strong interest in and understanding of people to build and maintain relationships
  • A strong understanding of and ability to adapt to different cultural norms and expectations
