As a Sourcing Engineer at Saab, you will be part of a dynamic team driving innovation in electronic warfare systems. Our goal is to protect people and society by creating advanced technology solutions. Check out Sirius Compact, one of our successful products.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will manage relationships with our suppliers, ensuring an efficient supply chain that meets project needs. Key tasks include evaluating the market competitiveness of our current supplier portfolio, negotiating and managing supplier agreements, issuing RFQs, and ensuring compliance with Saab's purchasing strategy and policies.

You will work closely with our Sourcing and Production team, collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential to adapt to changing circumstances.

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A university degree in Engineering or Economics or equivalent working experience.
  • Experience in sourcing is necessary.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office.

We value:

  • Experience from procurement in relevant categories.
  • ERP system expertise (e.g., IFS).
  • Background in the electronics or defense industry.
