Procurement and Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement and Logistics Manager to join our team at UPM. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing category strategies that drive value for the organization.

The Category Development Lead will be responsible for leading sourcing events, cost optimization initiatives, contract negotiations, and market benchmarking. They will also establish and manage relationships with internal stakeholders and drive business alignment.

In this role as a Supply Chain Strategist, you will oversee the strategic sourcing of essential Business Services in the area of HR services, Marketing, Sustainability and Communication, Facility Management, Professional services, and Market Intelligence. You will develop and implement category strategies and plans that align with business objectives and deliver value for the organization.

We are looking for a Procurement and Logistics Specialist who will assist in building and maintaining a sustainable and reliable supplier base for assigned sub-categories. The successful candidate will lead the evaluation, selection, and development of strategic and key suppliers to drive performance and own Supplier Relationship Management Programs for the respective area.

• This role plays a vital part in delivering value on a global scale, shaping impactful relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, and making a real difference.
• The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years' experience in Indirect Sourcing or related areas.
• You will have negotiation and influencing skills with experience in contracting for business services and effective risk identification and management.
• The position requires traveling up to 20% of the time, and the position holder will report to Katarzyna Glińska, Sourcing Director, Business and Site Services Category.
