Procurement Strategist

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Category Sourcing Manager to lead our indirect sourcing activities in Facility Management and Utilities. Reporting to the Head of Indirect Sourcing, this role will be located in Barcelona or Berga (Spain), Gothenburg or Stockholm (Sweden), Helsinki (Finland), Roeselare (Belgium), Milton Keynes (UK).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement indirect category strategies and plans, together with stakeholders within Paulig's logistics organization.
• Identify innovative procurement solutions that provide cashable savings and process efficiencies for the organization.
• Negotiate, implement, and evaluate agreements including price, terms of payment, and lead time.
• Comprehensive management of supplier relationships, including selection, execution, data management, contracting, risk management, development, and quality & sustainability.
• Develop and maintain expert knowledge of respective global supply markets, competitors, and product innovations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Facility Management and Utilities sourcing experience in a relevant industry.
• University degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management, engineering, or business.
• Strong ability to build strategic partnerships and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in Finnish and Swedish is an advantage.
