Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate machinery risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Guide delivery projects on Machinery Directive application to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor the implementation of safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Provide support with safety engineering solutions to ensure the safe design and operation of our products.
  • Contribute to the development of our Product Safety Management process to ensure it remains effective and efficient.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automation, Industrial/Occupational Safety)
  • Fluent English skills, with Finnish considered an asset
  • Knowledge and application experience of Machinery Directive
  • Experience in performing machinery risk assessments
  • Knowledge of machinery safety standards
  • Application experience of EN standards

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Smelting technology and related equipment
  • Knowledge and application experience of Pressure Equipment Directive
  • Experience in functional safety assessment
  • Certifications in Machinery Safety
