Plasmonic Nanopore Fabrication Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate with a strong background in physics, electronic engineering, materials science, or related fields. The ideal candidate has experience in micro-/nanofabrication approaches (Focused Ion Beam) and cleanroom equipment (e.g., photolithography, physical vapor deposition). Experience in patch-clamp amplifier measurement or nanopore resistive pulse sensing is also a plus.

The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and characterizing plasmonic nanopore and nanotube biosensors on silicon nitride membranes and glass nanopipettes. They will also measure ion currents and Raman spectroscopy of biological samples (molecules, liposomes, and cells) on the biosensors.
