The role involves taking ultimate responsibility for financial accounts, including P&L and Balance Sheet, and collaborating closely with FP&A teams on performance analysis.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and review monthly accounts, supervise accounting operations, and provide support to Accounting Shared Service Center teams.
- Take ultimate accountability for cash collection, working closely with ASSC teams to ensure reasonable DSO and healthy AR Ageing Balance.
- Play a key role in collaboration between local teams and ASSC, strengthening communication to ensure timely and accurate financial operations.
- Manage all tax filings and support INE Reports.
- Lead annual audits in Finland and Sweden, and support group audit.
- Manage local accounting teams, upholding Acolad cultural values and promoting an environment of support, development, and leadership.
- Identify opportunities for growth, improvement, and efficiencies in the finance discipline.
- Continually review systems, processes, and reporting, collaborating with cross-functional teams to suggest ways to minimize loss, enhance controls, and improve profitability.
- Maintain, review, and monitor internal controls, ensuring implementation of Group's policies and procedures.
- Provide relevant financial insight and support to local leadership teams, participating in key meetings.
- Degree in Finance or Economy.
- At least 8 years' proven experience in Finance, ideally starting from an audit firm, followed by financial control in an international group.
- Experience in operating in an international company with operations in several countries.
- Strong accounting experience.
- Knowledge of local tax requisites.
- Background in audit processes.
- Experience in operating in a professional services company, localization industry experience (as a plus).
- Autonomy, proactive attitude, and team player.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and workload.
- Fluent in English and Finnish is a must; Swedish is a plus.
