Biophysics Positions at CHARMM-GUI

Our team at CHARMM-GUI is committed to advancing the understanding of complex biological systems through innovative computational methods. As a postdoctoral scientist or PhD student, you will contribute to the development of new algorithms and techniques for simulating large-scale molecular systems.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement novel computational methods for molecular simulations, including but not limited to molecular dynamics, Monte Carlo, and quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM).
- Collaborate with experimental and theoretical groups to validate simulation results and identify new areas for investigation.
- Analyze and interpret data from simulations to draw meaningful conclusions about the behavior of biological systems.
- Communicate research findings through presentations and publications in high-impact scientific journals.
We are looking for highly motivated and talented researchers with experience in computational biophysics, particularly molecular simulations and QM/MM methods. A strong background in mathematical modeling, programming languages such as Python or C++, and experience with Linux-based operating systems are essential.
