About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Art Director to join our Global Marketing team at Supercell. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a clear artistic vision for our marketing creatives, from cinematic shorts to illustrations to animated series.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Nurture a Clear Artistic Vision: Own and lead all artistic aspects of production with an eye for quality and details.
  • Drive Creative Projects: Get the job done by either rolling up your sleeves to do it yourself or finding partners to help you realize the vision.
  • Manage Creative Partners: Select and manage key creative partners (animation houses, creative agencies, etc.) while always looking for new challengers in the market.
  • Create Marketing Assets: Develop and produce marketing assets such as cinematics, illustrations, gameplay videos, logos, etc. for various multimedia platforms.
Requirements
  • World-Class Visual Storyteller: A passion for world-building and character development.
  • Art Direction Experience: 5+ years of experience as an art director.
  • Tracking Record: A proven track record in creating high-quality, creative animations driven by gameplay and/or storytelling.
  • Production Pipeline Knowledge: A clear understanding of production pipelines and experience with CG / 2D / 3D animation.
  • Artistic Skills: An artist with at least one direct experience in animation (2D/3D), layout, modeling, storyboarding, character animation, effects, composition, or editing.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to give detailed feedback and communicate direction between both internal teams and external partners while respecting schedules.
  • Team Player: A team player with excellent English communication skills.
  • Marketing Experience: Experience in marketing and advertising would be a plus.
