Senior Communications Specialist

The United Nations University is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist in Helsinki, Finland. As Senior Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the Institute's Knowledge Mobilization Strategy and overseeing the communications team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to promote the Institute's research and activities.
  • Manage and coordinate the communications team to ensure timely and effective delivery of communications products.
  • Oversee the development and dissemination of various communication materials, including press releases, social media content, and publications.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Communications, Public Relations or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or public relations, preferably in an international organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
