Job Summary:

Belmontlavan is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the Windows 11 update project. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation of this critical project.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure the Windows 11 update is completed on time and within budget.
  2. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and end-users, to gather requirements and define project scope, ensuring a smooth transition for our client's systems and users.
  3. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, developing strategies to ensure project success.
  4. Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate project team members, assigning tasks and ensuring timely delivery of project deliverables, while fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  5. Progress Monitoring: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  6. Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration between project teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project delivery, while maintaining effective relationships with key stakeholders.
  7. Financial Management: Manage project budget, track expenditures, and ensure financial control, ensuring the project is delivered within budget.
  8. Quality Assurance: Ensure quality assurance and testing activities are conducted to meet technical and business requirements, ensuring the Windows 11 update meets the highest standards.
  9. Deployment Planning: Plan and execute a smooth deployment of the Windows 11 update, minimizing disruption to business operations, and ensuring a seamless transition for our client's systems and users.
  10. Project Closure: Conduct project closure activities, including final reporting, documentation, and lessons learned, to ensure a successful project outcome and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  1. Project Management Experience: Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically managing IT projects and system upgrades, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  2. Windows 11 Experience: Experience with Windows 11 or similar operating system updates is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of the technical requirements and challenges associated with this type of project.
  3. Project Management Skills: Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans, manage risks, and deliver projects on time and within budget, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Quality Assurance Knowledge: Knowledge of quality assurance and testing practices to ensure successful project outcomes, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  5. Leadership Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and effectively prioritize tasks and resources, with strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and guide team members.
  6. Certifications: PMP certification or equivalent is a plus, demonstrating a commitment to project management excellence and a strong understanding of industry best practices.
