Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate assistance to end-users within our organization's desktop computing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and on-call support to end-users, troubleshooting computer OS and peripherals issues
  • Handle various PC operating systems, including Windows 7, 8, and 10
  • Perform hardware and software installations, utilizing deployment tools like SCCM
  • Develop a strong understanding of our Standard Operating Environment (SOE) and group policies
  • Offer printer support and maintain a good knowledge of MS Office tools installation and troubleshooting
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and possess excellent people skills
  • Gain field experience supporting a variety of technologies and services
  • Develop advanced technical abilities, including solid troubleshooting skills applicable to Windows, Apple, and virtual operating systems
  • Effectively manage time and resources to meet or exceed expectations in high-profile situations, maintaining professionalism under pressure
Requirements
  • Good knowledge of infrastructure support
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Well-organized and extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong customer service ethic and great communication skills, both oral and written
  • Passionate about delivering quality in all aspects of work
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • A self-starter, motivated to push boundaries and think creatively
  • Fondness for solutions that are simple, elegant, and effective
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office applications expertise
  • PC/Laptop hardware knowledge
  • PC/Laptop peripherals, including printers
Education and Experience
  • At least one of the following certifications: PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification
  • 2+ years of relevant experience, or freshers and IT students with IT backgrounds
  • Ability to travel up to 12-18 miles as required
