Our team investigates circadian regulation of chronic pain and associated comorbidities using state-of-the-art methods such as high-throughput omics, molecular biology, drug library screens, characterization of patient cohorts, and functional studies in experimental models.
Job Description:
We are looking for a researcher who can contribute to our existing project or initiate their own project within the main research areas of the group, including comorbidity between sleep disorders and pain, circadian regulation of pain, and pain chronotherapies. The successful applicant will have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills and at least two first-authorship publications and a PhD degree in neuroscience, biology, chronobiology, pharmacology, sleep medicine, or a related discipline.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- At least two first-authorship publications
- PhD degree in neuroscience, biology, chronobiology, pharmacology, sleep medicine, or a related discipline
- Previous experience with drug screens, EEG recordings, neuronal cell lines, and animal models
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
