We are looking for a skilled Public Affairs Specialist to join our team in Finland. As a key member of our communications department, you will develop and implement effective public affairs strategies to support the organization's objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing public affairs strategies to engage with various stakeholders, including media, government officials, and other external partners
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication materials
  • Managing media relations and developing strategic partnerships
  • Organising events and activities that promote our brand and values
  • Coordinating the work with external suppliers such as agencies

Key Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Social studies or Business Management
  • Minimum 2-3 years' previous work experience in a strategic communications and/or public affair
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills in English and Finnish languages
  • Experience in building and maintaining media relationships
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and navigate complex, sensitive issues
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and social media platforms
  • A pro-active, entrepreneurial mindset and ability to challenge status quo
