As a key member of the International Affairs Team at the University of Oulu, we are seeking an enthusiastic Programme Coordinator Trainee to join us for a period of 1st June - 31st August 2025. This exciting opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in planning and coordinating events as part of the Arctic Summer Programme.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Planning and implementing the social programme and events that are part of the Arctic Summer Programme.
  • Providing logistical and organisational support and scheduling.
  • Supporting the recruitment and coordination of student volunteers.
  • Offering enquiry support and communication with participants and other stakeholders.

During the programme, you will be the primary point of contact for participants, ensuring their needs are met and providing a positive experience.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Excellent organisational and customer service skills.
  • Strong English language skills.
  • Be a current enrolled student at the University of Oulu or the Oulu University of Applied Sciences (Oamk).
  • The traineeship must form part of your studies.
