The role of the Head of People and Culture is to oversee HR matters in the Nordic and Baltic markets, collaborate with employees and local management teams, and deliver outstanding people experiences. As a key member of the Market Unit Core Leadership Team, you will contribute to the development of the People Agenda and ensure the implementation of the Global People Strategy.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Represent the voice of HR in the country and act as the Head of People and Culture in the Market Unit and in the respective countries.
- Lead the People Agenda in the Nordic Market Unit through leading and coordinating the distributed Nordic P&C Team in a matrix setup.
- Contribute as a member of the Market Unit Core Leadership Team, as well as a member of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden Local Leadership Teams.
- Deliver innovative people experiences by demonstrating empathy and emotional intelligence, including:
- Embracing the Global People Strategy.
- Branding SAP as the most attractive employer in the Country through an outstanding employee value proposition.
- Fostering an environment of belonging and inclusion.
- Managing social partner relations in the countries, as needed.
- Managing local, legal, regulatory policies, and compliance matters.
- Embodying the importance of leadership and employee engagement for a hybrid workforce.
- Acting as a link between social well-being, mental health, and business priorities.
- Providing a flexible work and digital workplace experience that is simple, intuitive, and connected.
- Strategically aligning with Board Area HRBP leads to ensure one voice to our business leaders.
- Securing and developing SAP Culture and Values and acting as a cultural ambassador at all times.
- Working with employee networks to maintain a permanent connection with employees and to understand their current needs and overall mood.
- Acting as an interface for Global HR pillars (total rewards, talent attraction, SAP learning, people relations, etc.), key stakeholders such as the local communications team, facilities- and security representatives.
- Collaborating with HR Directors in the EMEA region to drive regional projects within the area of People Experience.
About You
- You have relevant multi-year working experience within HR in a similar function.
- You hold an advanced degree such as M.Sc. or MBA in business sciences, management, organizational psychology, or similar.
- You are able to lead by influencing and possess strong negotiation skills.
- You have aptitude for transparently addressing and following up on feedback from employees and customers.
- You possess outstanding communication and moderation skills, comfortable being on stage for internal and external audiences.
- You have knowledge of local legislation and overall market conditions in the respective countries.
- You are enthusiastic and proficient in leveraging social media for employee communication and engagement.
- You are approachable and enjoy receiving direct feedback, feeling motivated by appreciation or critique.
- You possess project management skills and a structured, strategic mindset.
- You are fluent in English, and knowledge of one or more Nordic languages is an advantage.
