Espoo, Uusimaa, Finland Oy Samlink Ab Full time

Who We Are

At Kyndryl, we design, build, manage and modernize the mission-critical technology systems that the world depends on every day. So why work at Kyndryl? We are always moving forward – always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

Samlink is a Kyndryl company.

We are seeking a Data Warehousing Specialist to join our DW team at Samlink. Samlink provides customers with data warehousing solutions built on versatile core banking systems, tailored to meet their unique business requirements. The data warehousing team is responsible for both the development and maintenance of these solutions. As a specialist in the team, you will have the opportunity to work extensively within the data warehousing team and take responsibility for delivering comprehensive solutions.

Your primary task will be to design and implement data warehouse ETL solutions using the Data Vault 2.0 methodology, with Informatica as the current tool in use. You must be able to approach matters from both a business and a technical perspective, collaborating closely with other experts at Samlink. While we are primarily looking for a senior-level professional who can take on a leading role within our data warehousing team, we are also interested in candidates at all experience levels, as we can tailor the responsibilities to match your skills and expertise.

Benefits

  • Flexible Working Hours: Options for flexible schedules and remote work.

  • Continuous Learning and Mentorship Programs: Opportunities for training and professional development.

  • BeWell: Comprehensive wellbeing services (Employee Assistance Program) for employees and their families, providing a broad range of accessible programs, policies, and practices that support physical, mental, social, and financial well-being.

  • Company Events: Team-building activities and social events.

  • Company-Provided Mobile Phone: Mobile phones are provided for work and private use.

  • ePassi: Digital solution for lunch, wellness, sports, culture, and commuting benefits.

  • Bicycle Benefit: Additional benefit for cyclists.

Location: Our offices are located in Espoo and Jyväskylä, and the candidate would need to be based in these areas.

Who You Are

You're good at what you do and possess the required experience to prove it. However, equally as important – you have a growth mindset; keen to drive your own personal and professional development. You are customer-focused – someone who prioritizes customer success in your work. And finally, you're open and borderless – naturally inclusive in how you work with others.

Required Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience in data warehousing using the Data Vault 2.0 methodology, including both modeling and implementing ETL solutions (e.g., Informatica).

  • SQL skills and technical proficiency in data warehousing.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

  • Vision and ability to design efficient data warehousing solutions for the future.

  • Attention to detail, ability to handle pressure, and strong collaboration skills with various stakeholders, both internally and with customers.

  • Proficiency in Finnish and good communication skills in English.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • Experience in the financial sector is a plus, as it will help you adapt to the role more quickly.

A security background check may be performed for those selected to Samlink positions, in accordance with the company recruitment guidelines and the Security Clearance Act.
