Key Responsibilities of the Role:
  1. Review and understand project contract documentation
  2. Prepare and analyze supplier and sub-contractor enquiries
  3. Prepare and issue contract documents to our supply chain
  4. Monitor changes in our scope of work and pricing of variations
  5. Prepare and agree Monthly progress applications
  6. Financial and contractual control of sub-contractor accounts
  7. Issue contractual notices and evaluate loss and expense/acceleration claims
  8. Provide fast, accurate, competitive, and profitable estimates
  9. Prepare monthly commercial project reports
  10. Provide data and analysis of issues & risks as required by Management
  11. Manage and forecast project cash flows
  12. Liaise with the client, main contractor, and other departments
  13. Perform all other duties associated with this role
Essential Criteria for the Role:
  1. Academically (Degree) qualified and/or relevant experience in the industry
  2. 3-5 years' experience in a QS role
  3. A wide understanding of work contracts
  4. A working knowledge of Mechanical/Electrical Work Packages
  5. Good with figures
  6. Able to negotiate with clients on a professional level
  7. Experience in the use of Excel is a requirement
  8. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  9. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
