Legal Counsel

Join us at Spinverse Group as our next in-house Legal Counsel We are looking for a proactive legal expert who can provide clear and practical legal advice tailored to our business needs.

As Legal Counsel, you will draft, negotiate and review corporate agreements to ensure legal compliance and strategic alignment. You'll collaborate with leadership, business units and external partners to support transactions, protect company interests and manage legal risks. Additionally, you will assist clients with multiparty consortium agreements and work closely with finance, HR and operations teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Drafting & negotiation: prepare and negotiate various corporate agreements, including sales, service, subcontracting, employment, licensing and NDAs, ensuring clarity, enforceability and compliance.
  • Legal advisory: provide guidance on corporate governance, HR matters and business transactions. Support teams in contract interpretation and issue resolution.
  • Compliance & risk management: ensure adherence to corporate, tax, IP and data protection laws. Identify and mitigate legal risks.
  • Contract management: maintain and update corporate agreement records, ensuring compliance and timely renewals.
  • Litigation support: assist in resolving contract-related disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and settlements, coordinating with external counsel as needed.

Qualifications & skills:

  • University degree in Law (LL.M. or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience as a corporate lawyer, with a focus on corporate agreements and business transactions.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills with an excellent grasp of corporate law and compliance.
  • Fluent in Finnish and English; proficiency in Swedish is a plus.
  • Ability to provide clear, actionable legal advice and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Experience in multiparty consortium contracts and public agreements related to R&D&I agreements is highly preferred.
