We're looking for a programmer who enjoys making tools, improving pipelines & enabling the development team to join us.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a proactive programmer, want to own significant parts of our content pipeline and work closely with artists, producers, game programmers & engine programmers. You will need to identify bottlenecks in the content pipeline as well as runtime performance. After designing solutions to solve them, you will implement them together with the rest of the client tech team.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintaining, improving, designing, and developing editors, tools, and plugins for game content creation and graphics pipelines on Windows and Mac OS platforms.
  2. Working closely with game artists and gameplay programmers on tool UX.
  3. Identifying and implementing improvements to the game engine.

Requirements

  1. Strong, professional experience using C++.
  2. Ability to quickly get up to speed with existing code.
  3. Experience in writing custom editors and tools for game development.
  4. Ability to communicate with non-technical people.
  5. Driven, focused, and willing to see projects through to delivery.

Nice to haves

  1. Experience in writing plugins for 3rd party content creation tools, like Maya & Photoshop.
  2. Experience in iOS / Android development.
  3. Experience in Flash / Animate.
