We are looking for a (Senior) Electrical Engineer to the Small & Medium Bore Engine Testing team.
Location: Vaasa, Finland. We offer the possibility of hybrid work.
Your Role And ResponsibilitiesAs a (Senior) Electrical Engineer your work will include the following and the tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests.
Responsibilities- Planning, organizing and executing component and performance tests on the production, laboratory and field engines
- Plan and execute measurements and automation related activities
- Analysing and reporting test results
- Working in close co-operation with development / engine test teams and expert organisation and supporting the validation and release / delivery process of engines and systems
- Developing and improving test methods and facilities
- Supporting production and field engines
- Relevant technical education (BSc or MSc or equivalent in Electrical or Automation engineering)
- Relevant technical background with Wärtsilä engine product family, system and solution
- Strong internal motivation, passion for execution
- Good communication and team working skills, as well as the ability to travel, work independently and globally
- Structured way of working
- Knowledge of reciprocating engine control systems like UniTool etc., and data acquisition systems seen as advantage
