Remedy Entertainment, the creator of Control, Max Payne, Alan Wake, and one of the leading independent game studios in the world, is looking for an Audio Designer to create high-quality gaming experiences for the next generation of games.

As Audio Designer at Remedy you will be responsible for ensuring that the audio fidelity, integration and audio pipelines are of the highest possible standard and serve the game vision.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • You will help define the project's overall audio direction along with creative stakeholders.
  • You'll create concept, content and implement the work through audio middleware and game engine.
  • Assist with polishing and bug fixing efforts.
  • Ensure that consistent communication is maintained to guarantee the quality of the game.
  • Provide accurate time estimations for tasks and meet production deadlines.
  • You are more than happy to mentor other members of the design team, helping them to improve and grow.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE
  • You are highly experienced in game development and you have at least one shipped AAA title under your belt.
  • You have deep understanding of audio in both linear and non-linear environments.
  • You are able to build an inspiring creative vision for audio and you have a demonstrated experience of high quality audio design and implementation skills.
  • You are knowledgeable of industry standard DAWs – REAPER, Pro Tools, Nuendo etc.
  • Strong background in recording, editing and processing field recording sounds.
  • Deep expertise of audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD etc).
  • Great problem-solving skills combined with a great team player attitude.
  • Positive, solution-orientated and independent approach to work.
  • You can also work independently, being organized and able to document your work.
