Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Designing, implementing and supporting Tuxera's Fusion applications
  • Work closely with the Product Manager to define and execute the product roadmap, designing and implementing new features that enhance usability and reliability.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance, DevOps, and technical support teams to meet customer expectations and ensure seamless product delivery.

Background and Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in C
  • Experience in Linux user-space programming, including Libc and POSIX APIs
  • Strong expertise or familiarity with developing network communication protocols is preferred but not required. Experience with SMB or NFS protocols is a plus
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including packet structure and low-level network communication
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen ability to solve complex problems
  • Solid knowledge of coding principles and development workflows
  • Hands-on experience working in an agile environment
  • Familiarity with network diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and performance analysis
  • Understanding of network protocols, including but not limited to Windows AD (Active Directory), LDAP, Kerberos, DNS, DHCP, ARP, TCP/IP, and UDP
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken
  • Good team player skills, including communication and cooperation abilities
  • Experience with scripting languages for automation is a plus
  • Kernel-space programming is a plus
  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP is a plus
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s), Docker, and container technologies is a plus
