We are seeking Senior IT Architects to help clients on national and international projects in our Helsinki office.

Senior IT Architects are part of consulting teams that focus on tech-oriented analyses, review & specification of IT systems or architectures, technical solution design, process improvement and target architecture definitions.

Together with colleagues from BCG Platinion and/or the Boston Consulting Group, you will develop superior IT strategies, concepts, and solutions actively and on site, applying your technical know-how combined with your analytical and conceptual skillset.

Key responsibilities include:

• Forming the digital transformation of globally leading companies by evaluating their digital capabilities and performing feasibility studies
• Managing small, agile development teams in strategic IT implementation programs, establishing modern practices like DevOps and CI/CD, and being responsible for the technical implementation of crucial digital requirements, such as cyber resilience
• Analyzing, developing, and optimizing cutting-edge, customized IT architectures while leading small teams and applying your comprehensive understanding of legacy IT, enterprise solutions, and current market developments and trends such as cloud computing and microservices

You can help us make a difference if you:

• Hold a university degree in computer science, informatics, engineering, or a related discipline with higher-than-average grades
• Bring a minimum of four years relevant experience in IT consulting, management of IT projects, or professional software development
• Have led project teams of more than three people
• Are familiar with popular software development methods and tools
• Feel particularly comfortable in interdisciplinary teams and global contexts - while traveling to our clients in- and outside of your home country
• Are on a fluent level of understanding and communicating complex topics in English
