Find out more at www.rosendahlnextrom.com Project Manager – Rosendahl Nextrom, Vantaa Do you want to take ownership of complete production line deliveries—from customer order to final acceptance—for the machinery that manufactures the world's optical fiber? We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Fiber Optics Business Unit in Vantaa, Finland. The role and main responsibilities In this role, you will lead international customer projects, ensuring successful execution from project kick-off through installation, commissioning, and final customer acceptance. You will work closely with customers, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and site teams to deliver high-quality solutions on schedule and within budget. Your responsibilities include: Take the project over from sales and make sure the scope and obligations are clear – internally and with the customer. Lead project planning: budgets, schedules, and the reporting and communication routines. Follow execution, react to deviations, and manage changes and risks. Keep a regular rhythm with the customer’s project manager, handle claims and build the relationship throughout. Arrange, schedule and follow up installation and commissioning at the customer’s site, guiding the site team and keeping the project moving with energy and a positive approach. Own the project budget Most of the work is done from our Vantaa office, with around 0–25% travel to customer sites. What we are looking for Project management experience. You have experience leading industrial equipment delivery projects from planning through execution, coordinating multiple stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Technical background. You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or another relevant technical field. A solid understanding of industrial systems and project execution is essential. Strong collaboration and communication skills. You enjoy working with a broad internal and external network and know how to build productive relationships. You don't wait for detailed instructions—you take ownership, prioritize effectively, and enjoy the freedom and responsibility to manage your work independently. The ability to perform under pressure. You can manage multiple projects simultaneously, make sound decisions, and remain calm and organized even when priorities change. Adaptability and flexibility. You are comfortable working with people from different cultures, backgrounds, and disciplines, and you can adjust your approach to different situations and ways of working. Excellent language skills. You communicate fluently in English, both spoken and written. Finnish language skills are considered an advantage.
